Maree McRae is a nationally charted singer songwriter who in the past few years has been thrown head first in the trenches of the mental health care system with loved ones who have been struggling.
Some she has lost, some continue their struggle of survival in a system broken with stigma, silence and underfunded treatment options and lack of continuum of care.
Maree is on a mission to get the facts out. She combines her heart centered story with her poignant songwriting in healing performances and educative presentations that promote awareness about our mental health crisis.

REASON is a new video that Maree wrote and performed the music to as well as directed the video. She wrote the song and filmed the video in one take.
One take, she says, because “it literally flowed from the very blood of my heart and soul.”
